Best Poster Presentation Award
 
The DiSturc fellow Mariana Oshima Menegon (Van der Schoot group, TU Eindhoven) won the Best Poster Award for Physics and Theory at the Dutch Polymer Days 2018 (DPD), 16-17 April 2018, Lunteren, The Netherlands. Mariana presented a poster entitled 'Phase diagram and cluster statistics of semi-flexible rods'.
 
The forum was organised by the National Dutch Graduate School of Polymer Science and Technology (PTN). PTN is a partnership of all polymer technology groups of the universities of Delft, Eindhoven, Groningen, Leiden, Twente and Wageningen, as well as TNO Industry (v / h Plastics and Rubber Research Institute TNO). The foundation aims to promote high-quality knowledge and expertise in the field of polymer technology in the Netherlands. The 18th edition of DPD was attended by over 250 scientists and students from universities and industries across the Netherlands. The programme included 15 invited and plenary lectures, 45 scientific workshops and over 100 posters.
